Musical Laser Reaction Game

A twist on a classic reactions games. The structure is based stage and consists of 7 laser beams and corresponding sensors. Each is contained in an customers milled aluminium holder. The player must break each beam in varying order, within a given amount of time, where each beam corresponds to a musical note within an octave.

The back panel of the stage consists of a matrix of 56 LEDs, where each strip corresponds to a laser beam and musical note. This is an interactive game, scaled to fit on a table top, enticing players from a wide range of ages. It encourages them to interact with the game visually and physically without needing tactile senses in order to control or play the game.

The game is programmed using C programming, series of pics and custom circuits boards. All physical parts are hand made using a combination of milled aluminium, bent tube and steel sheet all contained within a MDF casing.
