The Nokia Showroom
Creating a digital showroom for Nokia to showcase products from their licensees
The challenge
To create a site which allowed licensees to own and manage their own content whilst be in keeping in the Nokia style.
Allow for sites to be spun up quickly in several countries and languages, each having their own product range.
What we achieved
Launched 20+ products (and discontinued three) in five+ categories, across six language-country variations.
Over 1 million sessions in 2020, over 110k clicks to retailers - that's more than 10% conversion rate of visitors who go onto a retailer's website.
Onboarded 4 licenses in using CMS and managing their own content.
A better Nokia experience
A lightweight platform for Nokia and international licensees to easily bring new products to market and offer a consistent brand experience, with minimal overhead.
Showroom
To create a site which allowed licensees to own and manage their own content whilst be in keeping in the Nokia style.
Allow for sites to be spun up quickly in several countries and languages, each having their own product range.
Flexible ownership
Giving licensees full control over their products and content.
A lightweight platform
We created a lightweight platform that allows licensees to be in control of how to present their product information. Licensees add images and copy into pre-defined content blocks, which can be arrange in any order.
Product range
As a result Nokia are able to expand their product range through brand licensing whilst keeping overheads to a minimum, and maintain a consistent brand throughout the site.
Local sites
We made it easier for local sites to be created and maintained. Allowing content to be tailored and only show products being sold in that region.
As Nokia products become available in more markets and more local site are created it becomes ever more important that the CMS is simple to use.
A consistent brand experience
We created a new range of content blocks (modules) which are used to create the Nokia Consumer site. They use defined image sizes and text styles to ensure Nokia brand is kept.
These can be arranged in nearly any order and we provide recommendations to licensees on which modules would be the best for their content if they are unfamiliar with the CMS.
CMS
A CMS that allows licensees to manage their products content and link to where customers can buy.
User testing
Conducted user testing in two key markets: India and China.
